Sweet Basil Turkey
A wonderful way to use your leftover turkey to create a flavorful quick and easy entree your family will love.
- 1 pound leftover turkey, combined white and dark meat (or preference), all bones removed
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 4 tablespoons basil
In a non-stick frying pan, (spray with PAM or other nonstick spray if desired or needed) reheat on medium the turkey pieces, for approx 10 minutes or until heated through. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add vinegar, honey and basil, and simmer for 10 minutes.
This is wonderful over rice if you are using small pieces of leftover turkey, or served with other leftovers from the large meal if you are using large pieces.
