Tater Tot Hot Dish

This hot dish is a Minnesota favorite! Most kids love it.

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. ground beef or venison
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can of milk
  • 1 small bag frozen veggies (corn is my favorite)
  • tator tots

Method

  1. Brown meat with onions, salt and pepper
  2. Combine veggies in meat mixture.
  3. Place in the bottom of 8 X 8 casserole.
  4. Mix soup with milk and pour over mixture.
  5. Top with tator tots. 
  6. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees
  7. Uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes

This one can stand on its own or compliment just about anything!
