So I thought I would share with you all some quick, cheap but deiliscous meals for when hamburger seems to be boring and the thought of hamburger again makes you turn your stomach. Here are some recipes to make you change your mind and make you feel a little better.
Recipe 1:
Momma’s Meatloaf
1. 3 lbs of hamburger
2. 2 eggs
3. 2 cups of ketchup
4. 2 cups of bread crumbs
5. 1 cup of chopped onion
6. 1 cup of chopped green pepper
7. 3 TBS of brown sugar
Preheate oven to 400, in a large mixing bowl mix hamburger,eggs,1 cup of ketchup, breadcrumbs onion and green pepper. Mix well and put in a greased baking pan. Add the brown sugar to the remaing ketchup stir and spread over the top. Bake for about an hour to hour an half.
2. Spagehetti
1. 1lb of leaftover meatloaf
2. 1 package of spagehetti
3. 1 jar of spagehetti sauce (any kind will do)
In a large sauce pan bring water to a boil add in your spagehetti along with a pinch of salt and a 1/2 tsp of oil (this helps to keep the pasta from sticking) while your spagehetti is cooking go ahead a reheat your meatloaf in a frying pan crumbling the meatloaf as you go once heated through drain any excess grease and set it aside. once your pasta is done drain it and add your hamburger and sauce and let simmer for about 5 minutes long enough for it to heat through.
Another idea for leaft over meatloaf is to turn it to sloppyjoes with a little extra ketchup about 1/2 c mustard and about 1tsp of brown surgar. Heat everything in a fry pan throughouly in heated evenly about 10 to 15 minutes.
