Party Menu for a Perfect Barbecue

Nothing says summer like a BBQ grilled steak. Try this menu tonight with your family and close friends.

Bahama Mama

Ingredients

  • Glass of ice
  • 3/4 ounces each clear rum, amber rum, and coconut rum

Method

Fill with equal parts orange and pineapple juice

Grilled Steak with BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic (chopped)
  • 1 tsp pepper

Grilled Veggies

Ingredients

  • Zucchini
  • Green Pepper
  • Red Pepper
  • Yellow Pepper
  • Mushrooms (white or portobello)
  • Red Onion

Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • Dash of dill
  • Dash of paprika

Method

  1. Mix dressing well.
  2. Pour over chopped vegetables.
  3. Grill veggies as desired.

Spinach Salad

  • 1 bag washed baby spinach
  • 4 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Fresh, chopped dill
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sweetener
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

  • approx. 4 large shrimp per person (shelled, de-veined, & washed)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Dash of lemon juice
  • Sprinkle parsley

Method

  1. Melt butter and mix in garlic, lemon juice, and parsley.
  2. Pour over shrimp.
  3. Grill on skewers or sauté.

Vanilla Frozen Yogurt

  1. Dish of vanilla frozen yogurt
  2. Drizzle with butterscotch sauce
  3. Sprinkle with crumbled graham cracker crust
  4. Sprinkle with brown sugar
