B L T Pasta

I love B (bacon) L (lettuce) T (tomato) sandwiches, but they are not too easy to transport. So, here is a BLT pasta spin that is perfect for a picnic or bring-to-work lunch.

Ingredients:

½ cup of milk
¼ cup of sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
9 strips of cooked bacon with drippings reserved
3 ripe tomatoes, cut into bite sized chunks
4 cups of chopped romaine lettuce
12 ounces of cooked macaroni or corkscrew pasta
2 cloves of minced garlic
½ cup of chopped green onion
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp of salt

Method:

1. Toss cooked pasta with the milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a large bowl.
2. Crumble bacon and add to bowl; also add 1 tsp of bacon drippings.
3. Add all remaining ingredients, stirring lightly after each addition.
4. Serve and enjoy!
