Home Cooking Idea: Fried Meehoon with Sausages & Mixed Vegetable

Eating out is so much expensive nowadays than years ago. Ever since I got married and having young children, eating out is a big challenge. Nothing can compare to eating at the comfort of our own home. For that matter, I experience and pick up ideas of cooking at home to feed our hungry stomach and we save quite a bit over time. And I made them as simple as I possibly can before the kids start disturbing in the kitchen.
I would like to share my Fried Meehoon with Sausages & Mixed Vegetable which I normally serve for breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients:
- 1 packet of meehoon
- Frozen mixed vegetable (amount as desired)
- Chicken sausages (sliced) (amount as desired)
- Some garlic
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 2 table spoon cooking oil,
- Seasoning – mix salt, oyster sauce, soy sauce with a small amount of water
Method:
Cook meehoon in boiling water till it soften, drain, and rinse with cold water. Leave it in the coriander

Heat oil in a non stick pot; add in sliced chicken sausages; stir fried for 2 minutes; add in mixed vegetable and stir fried for another 3 minutes; transfer to a bowl.

Heat oil in frying pot, stir fried garlic and add in beaten egg until the omelette is cooked; use the spatula to cut the omelette into small pieces.

Add in the cooked meehoon, stir fried for 1-2 minutes; add in seasoning to taste; mixing and stir frying the meehoon until is cooked.

Serve with mixed vegetable and chicken sausages.
*Additional serving idea : add tomato or chili sauce if desire.
