Quick and Easy Lasagna for Less Than Ten Dollars
This is a quick and easy to prepare meal that will feed a large family for less than ten dollars.
- 1 16 oz package of lasagna noodles
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 jar (approx. 26-28 oz) pasta sauce
- 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add lasagna noodles, being careful not to break them. Do not overcook. Brown ground beef in a large skillet. Remove from heat and drain fat. Add 1 jar of pasta sauce to the ground beef and stir. Grease a 9″ x 13″ casserole dish. Spoon a thin layer sauce mix into casserole dish, then add a layer of noodles. Spoon on another layer of sauce then sprinkle on a layer of mozzarella. Continue layers of noodles, sauce, and cheese until all ingredients are used and you end up with a layer of cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Can be frozen.
