Elanor MathesonIt isn’t really high in calories, considering. As a single meal, though not very filling, it encompasses a little less than 1/3 of your daily calories. So in that particular instance it’s not that bad. It is EXTREMELY high in sodium, and since the noodles are fried, its pretty high in fat as well.
It’s a good base, though. You can add things to it and make a larger dish (add meat, veggies) and then split up the badness between servings so it becomes more reasonable.

When I try using cheese on Ramen it never comes out right… gives it a weird texture sometimes. I like to make Chicken flavor Ramen with long noodles and lots of broth; add basil, parsley, garlic pepper, and onion powder! I make it anytime I feel like I have a cold coming on, and it knocks it right out.

Lol I just had some last night! They even have a jumbo one that you heat up for 55 minutes and it is very good and it costs only 2.19!!! ( ba da ba ba ba I’m loving it)

Great article! Those of us who spent any time in university or college will attest to the ease and delicious taste of ramen. I highly recommend the chicken flavour with some peas and corn added to it. You can buy large bags of frozen corn and peas quite cheaply as well.
