Recipe for Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef

This is my mom’s sauce that she prepares for spaghetti. It uses lean ground beef, which enhances the flavor of the pasta.
Ingredients:
- 1 can spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb of lean ground beef
- 5 tablespoons of cooking wine
- ½ tablespoons of salt
- Olive oil
Directions:
- Sautee ½ chopped onion in olive oil until the onion is transparent.
- Add beef, cooking wine and salt and stir on high heat until water disappears.
- Add can of sauce and let shimmer on medium for 20 minutes.
- Serve with pasta.
