published by denus on Feb 3, 2009
Easy-to-cook meal with limited ingredients.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 5-10 rashers off bacon
- 600 grams pasta
- 1/3 cup of milk
Method
- Put pan onto stove and put some butter into the pan to oil it.
- Cut bacon into small pieces 1 cm long roughly.
- Cook your bacon till crispy .
- At the same time put your pasta onto the stove and cook it for about 11 minutes in boiling water.
- When you have finished cooking your bacon and pasta combine them together and stir.
- Get your 4 eggs and crack them into a bowl and whisk them till the yolks are broken and add the milk and whisk again till they are combined.
- When this is done add the eggs into the bacon and pasta and stir for about 5 minutes till they are thoroughly mixed.

I don’t think this qualifies as healthy heart food. But it does sound good.

Sounds scrumptous. Lot’s of temptations coming from you lately
!
The other day it was Bondi Beach: the Best in the World, then A Dedication to Mentos, and now this mouth-watering dish!
BTW, just checked your profile to post those titles and this recipe was not listed it your portfolio yet. It might be now. Might take a bit. I might have just came across this just after Triond published it.
Good job.
God bless

That’s one of my favourite lazy dinners to make when I’m not really bothered to cook…sometimes I chuck in peas and mushrooms and a dash of cream to the other ingredients and it makes a kind of lazy carbonara…obviously not very authentic before anyone criticises!

Your recipe says to “stir for about 5 minutes til they are thoroughly mixed”. You are cooking it during this stirring, right??? Just asking….
I do a similar mix with sausage, sweet peppers, onions and cheese – very German.

Sounds scrummy to me, mind you, anything that’s bad for your health sounds yummy to me. You only live once, and it’s but a mere fleeting moment in the scheme of things.

I don’t like eating eggs or anything made out of it. I would look for any other vegetarian dish. sorry, I am the odd one here.
