Satisfying Homemade Macaroni and Cheese in The Crock Pot
This is an easy and very cheesy macaroni and cheese recipe.
Nothing satisfies quite like good old fashioned macaroni and cheese. Make this cheesy recipe effortlessly in your crock pot.
This simple side dish and goes with all kinds of traditional American food.
Boil 2 quarts of water
Add 8 oz. elbow macaroni
Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
continue to cook for 11 minutes or until tender
Test the tenderness of your macaroni by forking one or two and running them under cold water before sampling.
Spray the inside of your crock pot with non-stick spray like Pam.
Drain the macaroni and place them in your crock pot.
Then add the following:
4 cups (16 oz.) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 oz. evaporated mile
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Sprinkle one cup of shredded Monterey Jack or other cheese over the top. Do not stir. Place the cover on the crock pot and cook on low for five to six hours.
