Chilli Crab Stick Recipe
The rich and meaty taste of crab cooked in red chillies and garlic cloves is delicious. The spicy taste of chillies sets the crab a fire with great flavor and the garlic adds a little kick to this tasty chilli crab stick recipe.
This seafood style recipe has a mix of spicy flavors and meaty textures. The crab is cooked until it literally crumbles and it has that fantastic meaty texture. As it’s cooked in the red chillies and the garlic, it starts to develop a most wonderful hot and spicy taste.
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 fresh red chillies (seeded and finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 9oz crab sticks
- 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
In a frying pan, a wok or a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Saute the onion for a few minutes then add the chillies and garlic, and continue to saute, stirring, for about one minute. Drop in the crab sticks and cook for another few minutes, until they have broken up, then slowly fold in the soy sauce and sesame oil and serve immediately.
