Gambas Al Ajillo

Use a clay pot instead of a skillet and serve gambas in it to keep the shrimps warm.

Serves: 2 to 3
Prep time: 5 to 7 minutes
Cooking time: 7 to 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 125 grams shrimps, peeled
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 2 or 3 pieces chili pepper, sliced
  • 3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Procedure

  1. Season the peeled shrimps with a pinch of salt.
  2. In a skillet, sauté garlic and chili in olive oil. Once garlic has turned golden brown, add the shrimps.
  3. When shrimps turn pink in color, turn them over and remove the pan from fire. Best served sizzling hot.
