Garlic Shrimp

published by mommie gee on Dec 19, 2009

Here’s one easy-to-make recipe that has become one of my favorite dishes to prepare and eat as well. A simple but delicious recipe that you can prepare and serve in less than 10 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ to 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 to 6 medium cloves garlic, crushed and minced
  • 1/3 cup of butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 ½ tablespoons of lemon juice
  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Heat butter over medium heat until butter stops foaming in a large skillet for about 30 to 45 seconds.
  2. Add the shrimp and garlic and sauté over medium heat, turning frequently until the shrimp just turn pink, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Add parsley, lemon juice, and salt (according to taste) then stir well.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and serve.

Happy cooking!
