Paella Valenciana

Paella Valenciana originated from Valencia Spain, is a one-pan peasant’s dish made with rice, vegetables, saffron, chicken and seafood.

Ingredients:

10 g squid rings
25 g mussels
75 g shrimps
25 g clams
25 g slab bacon slivers
2 slices chorizo
15 g chicken breast
1 cup tomato sauce
1 tsp. saffron powder
1 tbsp. tomato paste
3 cloves garlic, minced
An onion, minced
1 cup clam stock
2 cups paella rice
1 hard boiled egg
Half a bell pepper, roasted and sliced
Frozen peas, for garnish
4 pcs lemon wedges
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

Sauté the garlic and onion. Add the meats, seafood, tomato sauce, clam stock, tomato paste. Cook the rice separately, top with the paella sauce then bake for 25 minutes at 360C. Garnish with slices of hardboiled egg, lemon wedges and peas.
