Parmesan Prawns
The cheese coating adds a unique twist to breaded prawns. Use it to coat chicken, too.

Cook time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 500 grams prawns
- 2 teaspoon citrus juice
- 1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ½ to 2/3 cups Parmesan cheese
Preparation
- Peel the prawns and wash well
- Toss prawns in a mixture of citrus juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Marinate for 5 minutes.
- Dredge prawns in flour; dip in eggs, then in cheese. Refrigerate to let coating set then deep-fry until golden.
