Tamarind Prawns

Everyone is welcome to try this simple and easy recipe.
Serves: 8
Preparation time:2 hrs
Ingredients
- 1kg large prawns
- 100gm tamarind pulp
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 125gm frying oil
Method
- Trim the prawns and slice down the back,shell on,and wash.
- Mix the tamarind pulp with the salt,sugar and soy sauce in a bowl.
- Put the prawns in a marinade for about 1hr 30 mins.In the refrigerator
- Heat the oil in a frying pan then add the marinated prawns in to cook.Cook till brown and a little burnt and serve.
