Stuffing Casserole

Here is a great way to serve up that leftover stuffing and Turkey from your holiday meal.

We’ve all done it, in fact many of us do it every year. Spend hours if not days in the kitchen preparing that wonderful Thanksgiving or Christmas Turkey for the family and then find ourselves staring at the leftovers the next day and wondering what do with them.

Here is one great idea that has helped me serve a pleasing casserole that my family just loved while getting rid of the leftover stuffing and Turkey. I simply call it Stuffing casserole.

Ingredients:

  • Left over stuffing
  • Left over turkey diced (any amount you desire)
  • 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
  • milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Mayo
  • 8 oz package of shredded cheddar or swiss cheese.

Method

  1. Place leftover stuffing in square or rectangle baking pan
  2. Mixed in left over diced turkey.
  3. In a sauce pan mix soup and 1 soup can of milk, heat and stir until smooth
  4. stir in the 2 Tablespoons mayo
  5. pour mixture over stuffing and mix in.
  6. heat in 300 degree F. oven until warmed through.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese over the top of casserole
  8. return to oven and heat until cheese is melted over the top.

Serve with left over cranberry sauce, vegetables, rolls and butter.

Turkey is one of my favorite meats. This meal sounds delicious. And it’s simple to make. Simplicity is a big thing with me.

Sounds good except for the chicken soup. I went off it after a bad experience – I’d better not say any more : )).
I think I’ll use parsley sauce instead.
Perhaps I’ll put parsley sauce on Triond. Then you’ll know how to make it. It goes with anything from the game catagory.

And I just love stuffing from a turkey…mmmmmhhhh. The dish does sound delicious Martie : ) thank for letting me know.
