Filipino Tres Veggies Cariñosa

A vegetable meal that your children will surely love.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 big Carrot
  • 1 bundle of String Beans
  • 1 whole small Cabbage
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 small red bell pepper
  • 1 small can Pork and Beans
  • 1 big pouch Chicharon

Method

 

  1. Saute garlic, onion, and bell pepper in cooking oil. Add the Carrot and the String Beans.
  2. Add the Pork and Beans and Chicharon. Put some water. Boil under medium heat until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the Cabbage. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for two (2) minutes.

    practical – only few ingredients (that are readily available) needed. great!
