Pepper Garlic Beans
This is a dry preparation best eaten with hot cooked rice, and Moru Katchiyathu (Curd Curry).
Ingredients
- Black eyed beans (Indian Beans ) cooked-1 Cup
- Black pepper corns-5 crushed
- Garlic-1 flake-crushed
- Cayenne pepper powder-1 pinch
- Salt- To taste
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Mustard Seeds-1/4 teaspoon.
- Curry Leaves- A Few
Method
- Place a frying pan on fire, add the oil and when it gets hot, add the mustard seeds. When the mustard splutters
- add the garlic flake and fry until it gives off a nice smell. Add curry leaves and put in the beans salt, and the peppers. Stir fry for a minute and when dry, take off fire.
- Serve as a side dish with hot rice and Curd Curry.
