Sawsawang Kamatis

This is a Filipino dish called Sawsawang Kamatis.

Ingredients

3/4 lbs of ripened red tomatoes
2 tbsps of grated fresh ginger
1 Sliced scallion
2 tbsps of chopped peeled mango
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of fresh ground pepper

Method

Once all the ingredients are gathered, slice the tomatoes and place them in a line on a large platter.  Spread the ginger, the mango, the scallion, the salt, and the pepper evenly over the tomato slices. The dish is ready to serve and is displayed in a nice manner with minmial preparation time.
