Vegetable Stew with Cheese Tortellini

Serve this simple vegetable stew over your favorite kind of tortellini.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (141⁄2 ounces) each: stewed tomatoes,
  • reduced-sodium vegetable broth
  • 1 cup each: sliced mushrooms, green bell pepper
  • 1⁄2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon each: dried chervil and basil leaves
  • 4 small green or yellow zucchini, cubed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 package (9 ounces) fresh cheese tortellini,
  • cooked, warm

Method

This is same as making desserts, you have to combine all ingredients, except zucchini, salt, pepper, and tortellini, in slow cooker; cover and cook on high 4 to 5 hours, adding zucchini during last 30 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper; serve over tortellini in shallow bowls. You can present it in world top 10 most delicious recipes.
