California Coleslaw

You don’t have to be in California to enjoy this delicious slaw! It tastes great anywhere with almost anything!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1 c. Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 c. Slivered Almonds
  • 2 packages of Ramen Noodles – crumbled
  • ½ c. sugar
  • ½ c. vinegar
  • 2 packages Beef Flavoring – from noodles
  • 1 large package of Slaw mix
  • 1 small bundle green onions

Method

Melt stick of butter over medium heat in a large skillet.  Add sunflower seeds, slivered almonds, and crumbled Ramen noodles; cook until lightly toasted.  In a large bowl, empty slaw mix.  Chop green onions and add to slaw.  In a container with a lid, add sugar, vinegar, oil, and both beef flavoring packets; seal lid.  Shake until well blended; refrigerate until ready to serve.  When ready to serve, mix nuts with slaw and toss with dressing.  Enjoy!
