Fruity Macaroni Salad with Apples and Onions

New ideas for apples in old stand by dishes.
You can use your own favorite macaroni salad recipe for this, just replace the celery with apples, or add 1 cup diced apples to your salad.
Here is my recipe:
Ingredients
- 2 cups macaroni
- 2 cups creamy salad dressing, I use Miracle Whip
- 3 hard boiled
- 1 or two diced apples
- 1 diced onion
- 1 small green bell pepper, diced
- 3 tbsp of your favorite mustard
- 2 tsp of white vinegar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- pinch of salt
In a large pot cook macaroni, drain and rinse in cool water/ set aside in a large bowl
Combine the eggs, apples, onion, and bell pepper in the large bowl of macaroni.
In a small bowl, mix together the salad dressing, mustard, vinegar, sugar, and salt.
Combine salad dressing mixture into the large bowl with macaroni, chill and enjoy.
This is a favorite summer cook out recipe at my house!
