Ingredients

  • 1 Medium Tomato
  • 3 Button Mushrooms
  • 4 Baby Carrots
  • 1 Persian Cucumber
  • 2 Slices(45 grams) Foster Farms Oven Roasted Turkey Breast
  • 1/4 Cup (57 grams) Lucerne Low-Fat Cottage Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon (5 grams) Lucerne Low-Moisture Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1.5 Tablespoons (37 grams) Trader Joe’s Champagne Pear Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Tomatoes have been linked to cancer reduction. Rinse the tomato and slice it into big, bite sized pieces.
  2. Mushrooms boost the immune system and reportedly suppress tumors. Wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp paper towel and cut each one into quarters.
  3. Carrots help fight infections. Wash the baby carrots and slice each in half down the middle. Slice each half into half again so that you have quartered the carrot lengthwise.
  4. Cucumbers help regulate blood pressure. Wash and cut into thick slices.
  5. Turkey wards off depression and anxiety. Slice the oven-roasted turkey breast into two thick slices.
  6. Cottage cheese promotes strong bones. Set aside 1/4 cup of the cheese.
  7. Arrange the salad on a medium sized plate. Place the tomatoes, mushrooms, carrots, cucumbers, and turkey breast in a circular pattern around the plate. Add the cottage cheese to the center of the salad. Add shredded mozzarella over the top and drizzle salad dressing in a circular pattern. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper to taste.
