Macaroni Salad

This is one of our favorites.

  • Boil water for 16 ounce box of macaroni for 8 to 10 minutes or suggested time on box.  Drain and rinse with cold water.
  • Boil also about 4 to 6 eggs.  Cool a little.
  • 2 small cans of tuna (your favorite kind)
  • 1/2 cup of Mayonnaise to taste
  • 1/4 cup of Salad Dressing to taste
  • 1/2 cup of celery
  • 1/2 cup of onion
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

First cream together your tuna and salad dressings with egg yolk.  Chop the egg whites for and add last.

Mix in the rest of the ingredients.

NOTE:  You can add any other vegetables you like.  You can add in 2 small cans of baby shrimp in place of the tuna.  You can go all vegetarian.  Red or green pepers maybe used as well.  Or go vegetarian if you like.  Also may use healthier salad dressings and mayonnaise as well.  

Try other spices like celery salt or white pepper.  A little parsley is good to.
