Molded Fruit & Cheese Salad
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
1 (13 1/2 oz. ) can pineapple tidbits
1 (6 oz.) orange gelatin
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
1 pint creamed small curd cottage cheese
Drain and measure syrups from canned fruits. Add enough water to measure 1 1/2 cups liquid. Heat to boiling. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Stir in buttermilk and cheese. chill until gelatin begins to thicken. Fold in drained fruits. Turn into 6 cup mold. Chill until firm. Unmold and surround with salad greens. Makes 6-8 servings.
