Looking for a different type of salad for your next dinner party or family get-together? Give this Organic Baked Pepper Salad recipe a whirl.

This simple salad makes a great appetizer that will work well with many varied menus.

Ingredients for Organic Baked Pepper Salad

6 Large Locally Grown Organic Sweet Peppers

1 Medium Locally Grown Organic Onion

3 Tbsp Organic Fair Trade Vinegar

1/4 Cup Organic Fair Trade Olive oil

1-3 Sprigs Organic Locally Grown Fresh Oregano

Your Taste Freshly Ground Organic Fair Trade Sea Salt

Your Taste Freshly Ground Organic Fair Trade Black Pepper

Preparation of Organic Baked Pepper Salad

Bake the Locally Grown Organic Sweet Peppers until wilted and soft in an oven at 450F, this takes about 20 minutes.

Remove the seeds and out skin then cut in pieces and place in a bowl. Add the the Locally Grown Organic Onion, Freshly Ground Organic Sea Salt and Freshly Ground Organic Black Pepper.

In another bowl combine the Organic Fair Trade Vinegar with the Organic Fair Trade Olive Oil.

Mix the oil and vinegar combination with the pepper mixture.

Serve with sprinkling the Organic Locally Grown Fresh Oregano over each serving to the individual tastes of your family or guests.

    sounds yummy. I don’t ordinarily like sweet potatoes but perhaps with salt and added ingredients I might. I don’t like it plain though.
