Oriental Seafood Salads Made Using Cucumber

Seafood lovers will be rejoiced to have a really healthy way of eating their favorite fare. You can steam or lightly sauté seafood in healthy vegetables oils before using them in these scrumptious salads.

Here are three easy healthy recipes you can make using seafood and cucumber. The oriental dressings used in these salads are extremely refreshing and will bring out the flavor of fish, shrimps, squids or any other seafood that you use while making them.

 

Saute squids in sesame oil and chop the cucumbers and red onions into bite sized pieces. Mix red wine vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, salt and sesame seeds together and add the squids, cucumbers and onions in the dressing. Toss thoroughly and serve.

 

Steam fish in a pan and mince it into bite sized portions. Chop cucumbers and white onions finely. Whisk sesame oil with vinegar, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, salt, pepper and some finely grated ginger and garlic. Blend fish, cucumbers and onions with this dressing and dole out the refreshing salad.

 

Brown a handful of shrimps lightly in sesame oil. Whisk rice wine vinegar with fish sauce, chile powder, sugar, salt, ginger and garlic. Add the shrimps, chopped cucumbers and scallions into this dressing and hand out the dish with soups or broths.
