Salmon Caesar Salad, Grilled for Memorial Day

Delicious recipe for Memorial Day, or, perhaps a Father’s Day barbeque.

1 one pound salmon fillet

2/3 cup of a prepackaged Caesar salad dressing

1 package chopped romaine lettuce, chopped

1/2 cup of Caesar flavored croutons

1/4 cup sliced ripe olives

1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1. Heat grill. When ready to grill, place salmon skin side down, on grass grill or medium healthy or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Brush surface of with 1 tablespoon of the salad dressing. Cook 9-11 minutes or until flakes with fork and is opaque.

2. In large bowl, combine lettuce, croutons and olives; toss to mix. Pour remaining salad dressing  over top; toss gently to coat. Spoon salad onto large dish. Remove skin and filet salmon. Place salmon on top of salad. Sprinkle with cheese

    I am not a big meat eater, so the salmon fillet comes in handy. Nice idea!

    Enjoying a sumptuous meal with camp cooking Dutch oven has never been easy. With proper care for this oven this piece of equipment can definitely last for a lifetime.

    If you like Caesar salad, but don’t want to spend a lot of time making it, whip up this quick recipe for Caesar salad.
    1 medium head Romaine lettuce
    Freshly ground pepper
    1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
    1 cup croutons
    Caesar Dressing
    Directions
    Mash with a fork in a shallow bowl, the following: 1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard sauce, 6 anchovy fillets and 1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Stir in 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 1/3 cup olive oil.
    Tear washed and dried Romaine into pieces and place in salad bowl. Pour over dressing and toss lightly. Add Parmesan cheese, pepper and croutons.

    I enjoy seafood and I also enjoy a nice Caesar salad and this is great…
