Tri-Color Fruit and Jelly Salad

Multi colored fruit and jelly salad your kids would love…

Ingredients

  • Lemon or orange jelly 1 Pkt
  • Grapes ¾ tea cup.
  • Capsicum 1 Tbsp, chopped.
  • Bananas 2, sliced
  • Lemon juice 1 lemon
  • Sugar powdered 3 Tsp.
  • Salt 1 Tsp.
  • Strawberries or other fruit 1 tea cup sliced.
  • Red or green color.
  • Shredded cabbage and grated carrots, for decoration.

Method:

  1. Dissolve the jelly in 3 tea cups of boiling water. Cool a little and add lemon juice, sugar and salt to it.
  2. Divide the jelly into 3 equal parts. Keep one part as it is. To the other two parts add red and green color respectively and keep the green color jelly in the freezer.
  3. When the green color jelly sets partially, add the grapes, capsicum. Mix well and pour into any fancy mould or a ring mould. Again put to set in the freezer.
  4. Now put to set the red colored jelly in the freezer.
  5. When it sets partially, add strawberries. Mix well and pour over the set green colored jelly. Now again put both jellies in the freezer to set.
  6. Now, put the UN-colored jelly in the freezer. When it sets partially add bananas, pour over the set jellies and keep in the freezer.
  7. To serve, dip mould in hot water for a few seconds, loosen the sides and unmould on a plate.

Decorate with shredded cabbage, grated carrots and serve cold.
