Cucumber Sambal

A mild sambal with a piquant flavour.

Ingredients

1/2 cucumber(diced finely)

1 medium sied onion(sliced finely)

1 cup white vinegar

2 cloves of garlic(crushed)

11/2 tsp fennel seeds

1 tsp salt

4 tsp sugar

Little oil for sprinkling

Method

  1. Grind suagr,salt,fennel seeds,garlic with  vinegar.
  2. Remove the mixture and add in the onion and cucumber.
  3.  Mix well and allow to rest for atleast 4-5 hours before serving.
