Dill Pickles

How to make the basic, but delicious, dill pickles at home.

Dill Pickle Recipe

Ingredients:

-small cucumbers

-Dill

-4 cups vinegar

-8 cups water

-1 cup of pickling salt

-garlic cloves

Directions:

Soak small, freshly picked cucumbers in cold water overnight, then pack into jars with dill and a small clove of garlic in each jar. Boil vinegar, water and salt. Fill jars with hot mixture and seal. Enjoy these dill pickles through the entire year.

Yields: About 10 jars.
