Easiest Corn on The Cob Ever
The easiest corn on the cob recipe ever. The results are great and the mess is minimum. Works great for one or many cobs at a time.
A summertime favorite, corn on the cob is an easy dish to make. There are a ton of varieties to this summer classic. However, this tip has to be the easiest way to make it ever. After trying it a few times, I don’t cook corn any other way.
Vegetables loose vitamins when cooked in water, this tip doesn’t use any water at all. This tip uses just the moisture in the corn its self.
You can cook corn without the husk, but my suggestion is to buy it in the husk and leave it on until after cooking. This way the husk is an insulator and helps retain the moisture content. If you are concerned about the moisture content, you can add a bit of water to the husk before cooking.
Place the corn in the microwave and cook on high for at least nine minutes. Your corn will come out tasty and hot. Removing the husk after cooking is tricky since it is hot but using hot pads will help. The silk comes off easily with the husk.
Additional tip: If you enjoy spice or additional flavorings on your corn, you can add them inside the husk before cooking. Just close up the husk around the spice and corn before cooking.
