Hot and Sour Sauce

A nice blend of the spices to give a hot and tangy sauce. Good to use as a dip too.
Ingredients
- 5-6 tomatoes(boiled)
- 2 tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 tsp. dark soy sauce
- 2 tsp. chilli sauce
- 1/2 tsp red chili power
- 1 tsp. red chili flakes
- 1 tbsp. corn flour(dissolved in a little water)
- salt to taste
Method
- Blend the boiled tomatoes into a smooth purée.
- Strain to discard seeds and skin.
- Add in all the remaining ingredients except the cornflour and bring to a boil.
- Thicken by adding the cornflour slowly.
- Cool and use as a dip or as a pasta sauce
