How to Make French Potatoes
A quick and simple recipe that will have you hooked in no time!
Makes 4 portions
Ingredients
- 4-5 large potatoes
- 5 eggs
- 2 Kabana sausages
- 250ml of sour cream
- Skim milk
- Pickles or salad (optional)
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees
- Boil Potatoes in water and salt until cooked thoroughly
- Boil eggs in water only. Peel when cooked
- Boil Kabana for 10 minutes
- When thoroughly cooked slick potatoes and eggs at approximately 0.5cm thick
- Slice Kabana at approximately 0.5cm in thick
- Layer the potatoes, egg and kabana in that order in an oven proof dish until you run out of ingredients, make sure the bottom and top layers are potatoes
- Place in pre-heated oven and leave until it is just starting to ‘brown’ on the top.
- Remove and cool, serve with lettuce and/or pickles
Notes and Tips
Add cheese before placing in oven for an even greater taste!
