Mashed Garlic Potatoes

This can be a lovely side as it can be a wonderful accomplishment with a number of dishes and potatoes are always an all time favourite both for adults and kids.

Ingredients

  • 4  potatoes(medium sized)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 tbsp fresh cream
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200C
  2. Brush the potatoes  lightly with oil and then bake them in the preheated
    oven for 45 minutes or until they are tender. Set aside and allow them to cool.
  3. Peel the skin off the potatoes and mash them.
  4. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, then add garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes stirring frequently
    garlic mashed potatoes are very hot.
  6. Serve them hot and enjoy!

    These are the best kind mashed potatoes I’ve ever had…just too good to eat. They melt in the mouth like butter. Yummy!
