Mashed Garlic Potatoes
This can be a lovely side as it can be a wonderful accomplishment with a number of dishes and potatoes are always an all time favourite both for adults and kids.
Ingredients
- 4 potatoes(medium sized)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
- 3/4 cup water
- 4 tbsp fresh cream
- 3/4 tsp salt
- a pinch of black pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
Method
- Preheat oven to 200C
- Brush the potatoes lightly with oil and then bake them in the preheated
oven for 45 minutes or until they are tender. Set aside and allow them to cool. - Peel the skin off the potatoes and mash them.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, then add garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes stirring frequently
garlic mashed potatoes are very hot. - Serve them hot and enjoy!

These are the best kind mashed potatoes I’ve ever had…just too good to eat. They melt in the mouth like butter. Yummy!
