Mashed Potatoes

A recipe for mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Potatoes peeled and cut into large chunks
- 2 tsp. salt
- ¼ cup butter
- ¾ cup whole milk
Method
- In a large saucepan combine the potatoes, two teaspoons of salt, and enough cold water to cover the potatoes.
- Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Lower the heat to maintain a simmer and cook until fork tender, about fifteen to twenty minutes.
- Drain then add the potatoes and butter to the mixer and mix until blended.
- Heat the milk in the microwave just until hot, but not boiling.
- Stir into the potatoes and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
