Onion Thokku

Delicious spicy onion thokku.

Ingredients

  • Small Onions : 20 in no’s.
  • Redy chilli (round shaped one): 15 in no’s.
  • Iodized salt : 2 tbsp
  • Refined sunflower oil: 500 ml

Method

Grind the onions seperately and grind the red chilly with added salt and make it as a pastry item.  Heat the oil, add 1 tbsp mustard and L.G. powder (as required) and pour the pastry in to the kadai and stirr it until it shrinks to a little amount.

Have it as a side-dish with Idly, Dosai, Chappathi, or even you can use it with Rice to prepare variety rice.
