Orange Rice

published by LoveNFood on Aug 21, 2009

My second food recipe.

Ingredients

  • 300 g long grain rice
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 onion
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Method

  • First,  heat 4 tablespoons oil in a medium saucepan, chop the onion and the garlic very small. Once heat oil, add garlic and onion and saute until the onion is transparent.
  • Second, squeeze the two oranges and reserve the juice. Used half orange peel to chop very finite.
  • Next, add the rice, minced orange peel and sauteed with onion and garlic.
  • Finally, Add water to orange juice to get a pint, and add this liquid to the rice with some salt. We let the fire for 20 minutes.

Now, try it out N take a bite. Delicious, Right?
