Potato Bake

Just a simple potato bake. Please leave comments telling me what you thought.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet mushroom soup
  • 3-4oz streaky bacon
  • 1lb boiled potatoes
  • 1oz breadcrumbs
  • 3oz grated cheddar cheese

Method

Make up the mushroom soup. Chop the bacon roughly and fry for 5 minutes. Slice the potatoes and place half in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the bacon over the potatoes. Add the remaining potatoes. Pour in the soup- about 1 pint will be required. Mix the breadcrumbs and cheese. Sprinkle over the top layer of potatoes. Bake in a hot oven (400.F – Gas mark 6) for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
