Potatoes with Cabbage in Oven

This is a Romanian recipe.

Ingredients 

  • Sauerkraut (sour cabbage) an average size 
  • 5 medium potatoes 
  • 50 ml white wine 
  • oil 
  • 200 g bacon 
  • thyme 
  • tomato juice 
  • delikat, 
  • pepper

Method

  1. Clean the potatoes and boil for 10-15 minutes. Separately cut cabbage and bacon slices. 
  2. It makes a sauce of tomato juice to put in pepper and thyme delikat because little is Sauerkraut. 
  3. Potatoes cut into four slices put some oil on potatoes, then cover the cabbage and place on top of slices of bacon. 
  4. Pour in sauce tray and wine and then puts it in the oven, tray was covered with aluminum foil … are you about 35-45 minutes in oven. 
  5. Near the end of preparation remove the foil and leave it in the oven 5-10 minutes. 
  6. Preparation time: 1 h 10 ‘
