A Twist on Cranberry Sauce

published by JadoreElvis on Dec 20, 2008

This isn’t your grandmother’s cranberry sauce.

I made this for Thanksgiving this year and it was such a hit I’m making it again at Christmas

Ingredients

1-2 can[s] cranberry sauce [depending on how many people you are making it for]

1-2 small can[s] green chilies [again if you only use 1 can of cranberry, only use one can of green chilies]

Garnish it with jalapeno peppers – again this all depends on your heat tolerance.

2 bags tortilla chips

Directions

Take the cranberry sauce and put it in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave it until its no longer solid (you can also heat it on the stove). After the cranberry sauce is warm put in the green chilies. You can garnish with jalapeno peppers like stated in the ingredients section. It’s a simple way to add a little sweet spice to your holiday party!

It’s also amazing on top of Turkey!!!!
