This salsa is easy to make in a pinch. Serve it with your favorite chips.

This is an easy cooked salsa recipe.  It’s nothing fancy.  And, it is not a very authentic Mexican recipe, but it is quick and if you need a basic salsa quickly, this recipe is not bad.

Adjust the spiciness of this recipe by the amount of Tabasco sauce you use.

This sauce is an excellent dip for tortilla chips. It makes an excellent dressing for all your Mexican food dishes, such as burritos, tacos and enchiladas.

Ingredients:

2 large tomatoes, diced

2 green onions, finely chopped

1/2 tsp. sea salt

1/2 tsp. black pepper

14 oz. tomatoes

Tabasco sauce to taste

Instructions:  Combine all ingredients except the Tabasco sauce. Bring it to a boil for one minute, then remove it from the heat.
