Mint Sauce

published by Francy on Aug 20, 2009

How to prepare mint sauce. All this recipes are from my mother and grandma. I love their recipes.

Ingredients

  • 4 sprigs mint
  • 1 / 4 red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Oil

Method

  1. Finely chop the mint sprigs and dissolve sugar in vinegar.
  2. Then add the chopped mint with a droplet of oil and leave to macerate for at least a hour.
  3. Next add a pinch of salt and pepper.

You can then serve it cold or hot. That’s your choice… be happy with it. :]

Mint is an easy grown herb which delights the senses when it is prepared with an meal.
