Simple Spicy Marinade

This marinade is very easy and can be made with ingredients you probably have around the house all the time. It can be used on steak, chicken, pork, as well as vegetables like portabellas, and even tofu. It works best when soaked overnight.

Ingredients

1/2 cup light beer (any brand, any variety)

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp italian dressing

2 tsp A-1 sauce or equivalent

1 tsp minced fresh garlic

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp dried rosemary

1/2 tsp dried basil

dash sea salt

dash black pepper

dash red pepper

Preparation

1. Pour beer in a medium sized bowl; add lemon juice, italian dressing, and A-1 sauce. Stir.

2. Add spices, stir again.

3. Cover tightly and let sit until ready to use. You may adjust seasonings to your tastes if so desired.
