Spaghetti Sauce in Three Easy Steps

Home made spaghetti sauce is less expensive than store bought and can be made with or without meat.
This spaghetti sauce is easy to create by even novice cooks.
To get started you will need:
- Sharp knife
- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoons
- Medium-size pot
- Mixing spoon
- Small bowl
Quick and easy recipe
- Chop 1 small onion and set aside. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a cooking pot and then add chopped onion. Saute onion until tender and lightly browned.
- Add 1 cup canned or cooked tomatoes, 1 cup finely cut-up, canned or cooked beef or pork, and 1 teaspoon Worchester sauce and mix with sauteed onions.
- Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes to blend flavors.
Suggestions:
Serve on hot cooked spaghetti, macaroni, noodles or rice.
This recipe makes 2 servings of 1/2 cup each. Double recipe for 4 servings.
For a vegetarian spaghetti sauce, eliminate meat.
Add a chopped clove of garlic and saute with onions for additional flavor.
A pinch of oregano can be added for a more Italian-type sauce.
Sauce may be refrigerated or frozen and reheated until ready to use.
To make a complete meal, service with a tossed sale and ice cream for dessert.
