Prune Triangles
Easy appetizer.
- 1 c. butter
- 1/4 lb cream cheese
- 1T powdered sugar
- 2c. flour
- 1t cornstarch
- 3T sugar
- 1t lemon juice
- 1/2 c. prune juice
- 1 c. chopped prunes
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- Cream the first 4 ingredients and refrigerate for 20 mins
- Mix and cook until thick
- Add cornstarch, sugar, juices and prunes
- Add nuts and cool
- Take dough and roll in strips
- Cut in 2 1/2″ squares; dampen edges
- Fill with prune mixture and seal using fork tines
- Bake at 350
- Ice while hot
