Tangy Avocado Dip

A twist to the original avocado dip with hints of lemon juice, lime juice and butter, makes this dip a wonderful tasty appetizer for any festive occasion.

Ingredients:

2 Large Avocados or 3 medium

1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

1/2 Teaspoon Lime Juice

1/2 Teaspoon Squeeze Butter (bottle)

1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

8 oz. Sour Cream

2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise

1 Teaspoon Salt

3/4 Cup Chopped Ripe Olives (finely chopped)

1/2 Cup Chopped Green Onions (finely chopped and with tops)

1 Very Small Chopped Tomato (small chops)

1 Cup Grated or Shredded Cheese (cheddar)

Preparation:

Mash avocados, then add the next 8 ingredients. Mix well until hardly no lumps and layer into a 9×13 inch Pyrex dish. Layer, spreading evenly chopped olives, then add chopped green onions, add chopped tomatoes and lastly grated cheese. Press down and chill for 1 hour. Serves best with toasted tortilla chips.
