Toast (Am I Going to Talk About Toast of Course Not)
Toast is bread that has been browned by exposure to radiant heat. The browning effect you see is the result of a “Maillard reaction”. Toasting warms the bread and makes it firmer, so it holds toppings more securely. Toasting is a common method of making stale bread more palatable.
So I lied but now your here you might as well read on.
The usual method of toasting bread is by the use of a toaster, a toaster is an electrical appliance made just for making toast (but if you have no matches or can’t find your lighter you can light your cigs with it) . To use a modern toaster, sliced bread is placed into the narrow slots on the top of the toaster, the toaster is tuned to the correct setting and a lever on the front is pushed down. The toast is ready when the lever pops up along with the toast. If the bread is insufficiently toasted, the lever can be pressed down again.
A Toaster: The slots where the bread is placed are clearly visable.
Other ways of toasting bread:
Under a grill
In an open oven lying on an oven rack
Over an open flame
All three of these like the toaster can also be used to light your Cigs.

Toast is very versatile it can be eaten with butter or margarine spread over it and if you want to be very posh it may be served with preserves or spreads. A few other things that can be enjoyed with toast are chocolate spread, cream cheese, and peanut butter. Yeast extracts such as Marmite in the UK, New Zealand and South Africa, and Vegemite in Australia are national traditions.

As you can see toast is very versatile the only thing you cannot do with toast though is light your Cigs.
Sorry for the little fib at the beginning but sometimes when you are suffering from writers block weird things happen. Mind you it might be the wine.
